I did have intentions of carrying out the 29 days of giving. It is not that I have not given anything or given thanks for things, I just have not kept track. It was an eye opener. I do have lots to give, lots to give thanks for and I do receive a lot from others. God gives a lot too. I have a lot to be thankful for.
Thanksgiving was very nice with Mom, Kelly, and her crew joining us. Joe was even home. Tim was home for the week. It was a very nice day and I think one that was enjoyed by all.
Tim and I made it skiing the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Not much was open at Copper Mt. because they were trying to get ready for the Thanksgiving break. I enjoyed the groomed easier runs. I got new skis last year but really did not get to use them much and I was able to appreciate them that day.
Tim is in AZ and will be coming home around the same time Zach will roll in. Ted comes home on Saturday and I am not sure when Joe will be home. We have a ski trip planned while all the kids are home and then Christmas will be here.
The Dog and Duck Yard is hosting a New Years Day open house get-together. I am looking forward to having a house full of friends and family. Years ago some friends that we had known in Germany lived here and started a New Years Day open house and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to carry on the tradition.
I am thankful that I was able to be at the church today and help with the food after Mass.
Have a Grace Day.
I'd like to say that I'm so very grateful for your unending friendship. Thank you for the support, though the good/bad/and ugly, you guys have been there. Love you for that! Good friends are a rare thing in this life, you are one of the best, even though we can only find time rarely, I so enjoy it. If there isn't an epic blizzard, I'll see you next Saturday!
