Hi,
It has been a while since I have checked in. I hope that you are doing well and God has been shining on you. I know that he is here with us, working over time to keep us going. The following will be random, try to hang on.
The boys did enjoy their camp and the time they had away. As you we all know, we cannot stay on the mountain top and we have to come back down; school has started. Chris is a sophomore at Falcon HS and Max is in 8th grade in Seton (at home). Max has been taking care of the animals and Chris gets to do all the odd ball jobs.
Ted is in Alabama and living the first year of college for all its worth. He seems to be enjoying himself and doing well in school. Rumor has it that he misses the Colorado mountains. We are booked to go skiing over Chrismas break, hang in there.
Zach is in Kansas, school, work and margaritas. Dont ask me what order :~) I think he is happy that school has started back up and the place is busy again. He has been working his restaurant job again after his slow summer.
I could write a book on Joe's life and escapades but I will try to give you the Readers Digest Condensed version. This spring the little car got rolled over on its side by energetic twerps. Still driving though. This summer he took out his dad's truck but he was okay. He had to find a new place to live (long story), he did, the 2nd night his car got taken out by a drunk driver. Yes, he is fine. He was where he should have been at 0300, sound asleep. The little car was taken away in pieces. I guess Pueblo just did not like his little car. (His new roomate eats mostly a raw diet and there are not pots to cook in, hence the title.)
Tim is packing his bags as I type. He is on his way to Arizona for a while for work. He had a wonderful garden this year and is planning on the goodies to plant for next year. Tim will be home to get some skiing in this winter but I think he will have a nice tan from AZ before we ever hit the snow.
I am back in the land of the breathing rather than the huffing and puffing. It was a rough few weeks. Its bad when you get excited about the new, smaller, quieter oxygen machine because the old one quit working. It is amazing the way things change.
We all have been busy with things that make life tick. I have a freezer full of veggies and goats milk from the garden and Fishy. It is funny how things do not slow down with less kids but there are other things I notice. Like there is always a clean glass in the cupboard. And all the towels do not fit on the shelf with not so many being used and in the laundry basket. The cloth napkins take up too much room in the kitchen drawer. I do not wash 2 -3 loads every day.
The groceries last longer, but the leftovers go forever. It is going to really be strange with Tim gone. My poor neighboors are going to get all kinds of strange things for them to taste. I dont know that I can cook for 3.
I hope that you all have had a wonderful summer and that the fall brings God's bountiful harvest of blessings.
Karen
Karen you are such a good writer. Your blog is always so interesting. Sounds like everyone is doing ok. I'm glad you are doing better. I guess it is lonely at your house with the boys away.
Give our love to everyone and keep the faith. Love to all.

Your neighbor that has you over for beer and cough syrup is happy to have you come by. Maybe now you will know where the syrup cups are to be found. I will get you a stool so you can see. All of the rest of the blog is great to read. Keep it up
